Wellp. I done finished. Took about a week, maybe less, maybe more. I'm not too sure.
This is Ari. She is the Norethian Archmage, and only stands about 4'9, despite what destruction she's capable, as you can see from this lovely rendition. See that crazy look on her face? She wants you. She wants you for dinner. Completely done in photoshop. Linework, firoz, and lightnin'. EDIT: holy fuck how did I forget her lips. Oh well, it was a quick fix. Also, this whole picture is something of an experiment. This is my first real time doing fire and lightning, and I've also deviated a bit away from the hair and general coloring tutorials I've learned from. Spiffy, huh? EDIT 10/23: HOLY GOD ANAKIRA HAS GONE BACK AND DONE FIXED SOMETHING. AAAAAAAAGH GOD WHATTTTT. Her face was a bit smooshed, her nose was weird and so was her head. All I could fix without ruining the picture has been so. Better? Comments

It's odd seeing you do lineart after getting used to your lineless work. Not bad, though. -- An Artist is not paid for his labor, but for his vision All painting should be poetry. Nothing else. No ugliness, no vulgarity, no sordid dirt or chaos or commonness. Make all your words sweet. You might have to eat them later.  Ooooh--Very nice. I love the boldness of the colors you used, and the background works well with it. The fire might have looked better if the background color was darker, but ffff....This looks nice.
 And, as always, your line art is <3. aaaa, you're still short. It works. One halloween you should dress up like her >_>
Yeah, I know. But it is faster than coloring it without lines. Also, this was pretty much to take a break from Ry, but I learned some tricks with this I think I want to use on Ry, too. Be looking out for that >.> So I guess I'm gonna continue doing lineless, but use the lined work for little inbetweens. I personally think the background's fine o.o If I would have made it too much darker it would have contrasted too much imo. I've tried it. This works.
